Habrá alguno por ahí que se entusiasmará. Metallica, otrora gran banda de metal, y referente del trash por buen tiempo, ya se encuentra grabando su 9no disco. Así lo anuncia su web oficial:

Metallica left the comfort of HQ this week to descend upon the greater Los Angeles area to begin recording their 9th original album. This is the first time they’ve recorded outside of the Bay Area since they spent an eternity at One-On-One Studios recording The Black Album in ‘90 and ‘91. The last couple days have been devoted to each band member working out the right sounds, including Lars who remembered to turn on the snare and Kirk who played a solo! The big, shiny red button was finally pushed today - and the wait begins.

De que habrá gente que los espera, de hecho la hay. Pero teniendo en cuenta su franca caída en picada luego de discos fallidos tras su decente album negro (algunos son más drásticos, señalando que lo último bueno que grabaron fue el “…And Justice For All” de ¡¡1988!!), es de suponer que ya no les tengamos mucha fe. Quién lo diría, pero ya me parece que la banda de Hetfield y Ulrich está a punto de convertirse en un placer culposo…

Un momentito. ¿Ese gordito barbón parado al fondo es Rick Rubin? Mmm… Sí, sí es… por ahí que mejora la cosa, entonces. Aunque para comprobarlo, habrá que esperar a fin de año. Como mínimo. No es que nos desespere la espera, tampoco…
